York 315 & 316 Granular Ice & Storm Seal™ underlayment protects residential roofing from damage due to ice dams or wind driven rain. With a textured granular surface for better traction during construction, York 316 underlayment is excellent for shingle, slate, concrete or tile roofs, preventing moisture entry into structures by sealing uniformly to the deck and around nail penetrations. This 55 mil (1.4mm) thick composite is self adhesive and cold-applied; no special adhesives, heat or equipment are necessary.

York 315 Granular Ice & Storm Seal is available in rolls of 100 sq. ft (3’ x 33.3’); York 316 Granular Ice & Storm Seal is available in rolls of 200 sq. ft. (3' x 66.7'/0.9m x 20m).
